Ligi Ndogo SSC (Sandlanders Sporting Club) currently play in the KFF Nationwide League. The club is the senior side of the highly regarded Ligi Ndogo Junior Football League which has almost 600 children currently enrolled in Nairobi. Players to have passed through the Ligi system include Manchester City’s Swedish U-21 striker John Guidetti.

This season

Ligi Ndogo currently lie third in the KFF Nationwide League. At the end of this season (which has just a few weeks left to run), 4 teams from the KFF Nationwide League and 4 teams from the rival FKL Nationwide League will advance to a play-off for 2 places in the Kenyan Premier League.
As things stand, Ligi will contest the play-offs and have a shot at promotion to the highest level of Kenyan football.
